Live-In Nanny

Updated: Jan 14

The right candidate for this live-in job has strong organizational skills, takes the initiative, and loves managing homes. You are a highly experienced live-in nanny looking to become a long-term member of the family where you will be loved and cherished.

As a live-in babysitter, the parents ask for help getting the kids ready for daycare or school in the morning. Responsibilities include transportation, picking up and dropping off the kids from daycare and elementary school in the morning and afternoons.

Household management duties may include meal prep, organizing medical appointments, managing grocery orders, and ensuring a tidy home. Occasionally, the family needs help with overnights, but this is rare. If you are open to traveling with the family occasionally, they would love that.

Live-In Household Manager

Typically, your nature is that of a homebody who appreciates diverse cultures and ideas. Love is fundamental to you as you teach the children about understanding their emotions, developing their language skills, and creating fun activities for them.

Emotional intelligence is important to our client, who resists using timeouts as a discipline method. They want love, joy, and fun to be at the center of their development.

The parents seek a highly reliable individual who can become an honorary family member. In addition, they want a childcare provider who takes initiative, has strong organizational skills, and is highly communicative. Bonus points if you speak additional languages, such as French or Spanish.

Our client wants to offer you room and board plus a competitive hourly wage. They have one infant and one elementary school-age child.
