An Interactive Guide to Our Process
Starting status point: you found us and you feel like it might be a good fit. We have the nanny services your family needs, such as full-time, live-in nannies, care for your newborn, or specialized care.
You also are aware we are a high-end nanny agency who is uncompromising about the qualities, safety standards, and communication expectations we have of our nannies.
And you are probably beginning to wonder what the next step is. Do we dive right in? Are all fees due up front? Are there extenuating costs incurred? How does all this work?
Registration and Meeting - the Introduction Phase
If you have any questions, you are welcome to text or email us. When you are ready, you will submit your registration form via the website. This form tells me about your family and your household needs. At the bottom of the form, there is a non-refundable $200 charge that will be applied to your total balance should you decide to move forward with The Elite Nanny Team.
For our meeting, we will meet via Zoom at a time which is convenient for your family. It is an introductory meeting where we get to know one another. We will also go over details about what you are looking for in a nanny. We are a highly personalized placement agency so these details matter.
At the end of the meeting, we hope you have a better sense about how our agency can support you.
Signing the Initiating Nanny Seach Contract and Payment
When you decide your family is ready to move forward with the process, we send over a contract for you to sign. At that time, half of the total fee listed on the service page will be due (not including any priority charges agreed upon ahead of time).
Both items must be complete before recruiting/placement can begin.
The Silent Recruitment Phase
Once the initial contract is signed and the payment is made via PayPal, the recruitment process begins.
Previously there was significant communication between the client and The Elite Nanny Team. However, for now, this is minimized.
Occasionally, we have questions and need to follow up about certain items. But at that point we are in the thick of reaching out to our contacts, interviewing new nannies, and working on finding the very best fit for your family.
Parental Interviews
The parental interview phase happens in two sections. First, after we have located premium nannies for your family, we will send you three Zoom videos of our top three choices.
The nannies will be phenomenal household employment candidates, each with their own story, skillset, and personality. Assess each of them in terms of what will best suit your family, and what works best overall.
The second portion of the parental interviews is the interview itself. You will have indicated which candidate you like best. (Note: this candidate will have already cleared a preliminary background check prior to any in person interviews).
We arrange (on your behalf) a time and place when you can meet the candidate in person for an interview.
Kindly note: during this meeting, please give the nanny the opportunity to meet all of the family members (human and otherwise) with whom s/he will be regularly interacting with.
Placement Contracts and Placement Fees
A slew of other details take place before we arrive at placement. For example, your chosen nanny candidate will have to clear an extensive formal background check (including motor vehicle driving history)
Before your nanny signs their placement contract, you will be responsible for completing the placement fees.
This has been a vague outline of our process. If you need clarity on any details, please email us.
