About the Role

This is a full-time position paying $35–$40 per hour, located in Charlotte, NC. The nanny will provide attentive, high-quality care for one infant and two toddlers in a warm and loving home environment.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Infant Care: Feeding (including bottle prep), diaper changes, nap routines, soothing, and supporting developmental milestones such as tummy time and early sensory activities.

  • Toddler Care: Engaging in play-based learning, reading, creative arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor play, and fostering social-emotional development.

  • Routine Management: Helping maintain consistent daily schedules, including mealtimes, naps, and activities that support healthy development.

  • Light Child-Related Housekeeping: Tidying play areas, children’s laundry, cleaning bottles, and keeping their bedrooms and common spaces neat.

  • Meal Prep: Preparing healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals for the children.

  • Transportation: Safely driving children to and from local activities, classes, or parks as needed.

  • Parental Communication: Providing regular, clear updates on daily activities, developmental progress, and any concerns.

This is a long-term role ideal for a nanny who loves to watch children grow and who will become an integral part of the family’s support system. The schedule will generally be Monday–Friday, 40–45 hours per week, with occasional flexibility for extended hours or date nights if needed (with advance notice).

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and caring full-time nanny for a wonderful family in Charlotte, NC. This position requires exceptional dedication, reliability, and a passion for nurturing young children. To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience, preferably with infants and toddlers.

  • Infant Care Knowledge: Confident with feeding schedules, diapering, sleep routines, and developmental milestones.

  • Toddler Management: Ability to care for two active toddlers at once, plan age-appropriate activities, and manage routines effectively.

  • Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, but not required.

  • Certifications: Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification required.

  • Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and provide professional references.

  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Clean driving record.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable providing daily updates to parents.

  • Organization: Strong time management skills, ability to maintain routines, and keep play areas tidy.

  • Health & Safety: Must be fully up-to-date on vaccinations, including COVID-19.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to evolving family needs and occasional schedule changes.
