Overnight Infant Care
The Elite Nanny Team is recruiting a temporary, overnight nanny to work full-time with a baby in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
You will stay awake overnight for 8 hours Monday through Friday and on some weekends in this position. Your role will be to feed the baby throughout the night as required from a bottle or by thawing breast milk. Please be acquainted with changing dirty diapers, burping a baby, and encouraging the newborn back to sleep.
The babysitter will need an independent personality and strong newborn care experience for the nanny job. Being as silent as possible is helpful because the clients live in a small duplex, and noise travels quickly throughout the space.
Overnight Newborn Care Specialist
Please prefer to work overnights. This nanny job is one to three months long. You are needed to remain awake the entire time. Please do NOT have a day position. You are encouraged to read, be on your phone, or entertain yourself while the newborn is asleep and as long as other duties are finished.
People who work as night nurses, are in between jobs and are experienced childcare professionals are motivated to apply. Please be able to start by Monday. We prefer nanny prospects temporarily available while we work to place them in a more extended role (if you prefer). Newborn nursery care experience is required, please.
Overnight Childcare Provider
Pay is $19 - $25 an hour based on experience.
Schedule Needed: 10 pm to 6 am.
Preferred Qualifications
Please have the legal right to work in the United States.
Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant background in a daycare or educational setting such as a school (proof is required)
Please have a driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Infant Specialists may be up to date on CPR and First Aid Certifications (or willing to be prepared).
You know about the age-appropriate growth of a baby.
Experience with changing diapers and bottle feeding.
You are a former daycare or teacher's assistant with experience in daycare.
