The Elite Nanny Team is recruiting for the full-time childcare job vacancy to help in light housekeeping and provide child care to two precious youngsters (a toddler and an infant).
The soundest fit for this professional babysitting position is a nanny who is familiar with Kosher homes. In general, the professional babysitter will be accountable for guaranteeing the children get proper childcare, such as making sure they have activities and games. The nanny will also be responsible for managing the home, such as tidying the home and meal preparation.
The parents have continuous jobs; the dad functions as a senior director and the mom is a nurse with a fluent work schedule. The children love spending time outside and are a 7½ yog, 2 yob, and 4 mog. The toddler and infant you will be caring for are active and independent. They will profit from someone experienced at establishing boundaries in a loving manner.
There is no need to worry about a stringent family schedule because they typically go with the flow. However, it is very necessary that you are on board with their parenting style. Our client is looking for someone who listens to the children and appreciates their emotions. They would like their Minneapolis-based babysitter to respect the kids, be able to follow directives, encourage imagination, and allow the children to learn through trial and error. The parents are currently using the Montessori method for raising their kids.
Full-Time Nanny Skills Needed
Interested candidates are:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have at least a high school degree, GED, or equivalent
Have a car less than 12 years old and a clean motor vehicle record
May have attended college or university and majored in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution.
Have prior experience in childcare at a daycare, childcare center, elementary school, or school setting.
Be knowledgeable about changing diapers, preventing rashes, t, and sleep training, thawing breast milk, and managing duplicate children.
The quintessential caregiver will have CPR and First Aid Certifications (or availability for training if hired)
Be able to think on their feet, plan ahead, take initiative and execute follow-up.
Have a positive personality and love devising activities and games
Full-Time Nanny Duties
We are searching for a devoted and affectionate nanny candidate who takes initiative has decisive time management and childcare skills.
Your duties will be:
Ensuring the children's safety at all times
Constantly speaking to and interacting with the children, forming activities, and advancing their education.
Keep play regions tidy, mild housekeeping duties, empty trash daily, and meal prep.
Feeding the children following kosher practices, including not bringing non-kosher items/food into the home.
Assisting with the parent’s and children's laundry - washing and folding.
Benefits:
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 an hour
At least 12 days of paid vacation per year
Schedule:
A maximum of 40 hours per week. The nanny job requires a somewhat flexible schedule. You will be notified about the upcoming full-time childcare schedule six weeks in advance.
