Infant Part-Time Nanny
In downtown Minneapolis, MN, a great family is looking for an infant part-time babysitter who loves engaging kids in crafts, reading, and games. Although the child is 10mo old, he will grow incredibly quickly, and the parents want someone who will encourage his education and development.
This nanny job is a part-time, long-term position that occurs Monday through Friday. The hours needed to vary a little bit. We also could use your support on weekends, so please be openly available.
Part-Time Caregiver
As a part-time caregiver in Minneapolis, you will provide additional childcare coverage. In addition, the family has a primary full-time household manager with whom you will give support on an ongoing basis.
Ideal candidates will be advancing their education, have part-time availability, enjoy being a leader, and safely handle a child's development.
Experience working as a team in a daycare or at a school is important. Former toddler teachers, assistants, and church nursery attendants are encouraged to apply.
Childcare Duties Involved
Provide meaningful and fun activities for the baby
Encourage safety as the infant begins to walk
Support the Household Manager as needed
Provide backup assistance and availability when the other nanny is out sick.
Maintain a clean household, pick up after yourself and the child
Help empty the dishwasher daily and take out the trash
Be organized, openly communicate with the family, and work as a team member.
Benefits Offered
Wage/Salary: $21.00 - $ 25.00

Employment Requirements
A high school degree, GED, or equivalent
At least two years of paid experience working with babies in a professional setting
Former nannies or candidates with daycare experience
Excellent knowledge of age-appropriate developmental activities
Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
A team player with fantastic communication skills.
Fantastic spelling, reading, and math skills
A great car and a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of age-appropriate development of an infant
Experience with tummy time, introducing soft foods, and sleep training
Some Early Childhood Education Coursework or related experience
Former daycare experience
SIDS, First Aid, and infant CPR Certification (or openness to learning)
