Hiring Nanny for Toddler
We are recruiting a full-time nanny in Woodbury, MN. This family has a highly intelligent 3-year-old. She loves to play in nature, chase the birds, and create arts and crafts. We are searching for a long-term, full-time nanny placement.
The parents feel it is important to encourage a balance between offering strong love for a child and encouraging his education. It is very important to our clients that their child develops emotional intelligence. We would love to find a nanny near Woodbury who is empathetic, patient, and caring.
We favor childcare candidates who have a minimum of 2-years of experience working in daycares or as former nannies.
Desired Qualifications
Must be a United States citizen.
A high school degree, GED, or equivalent
An associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred majors: k-12, early childhood education (coursework permitted)
A great car and a clean driving record
Infant and Adult CPR and First Aid Certifications (or open to training)
Knowledge of toddler-age developmental activities and crafts
Experience with potty training
At least 2 years of paid experience caring for children in a childcare setting
A team player with fantastic communication skills.
A skilled organizer who takes initiative and communicates effectively
Strong knowledge of choking prevention and responding to emergencies
A highly creative personality who loves creating activities and games
Full-Time Childcare Availability Needed
Monday: 8:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Saturday: none
Sunday: none
Pay: $20.00-23.00 an hour
