High-End Career Nanny for Infant
Are you an experienced nanny who can work as a team with other staff, balancing duties and priorities? Do you love working with young children using age-appropriate development activities? Our Downtown Minneapolis client is looking for you to join their team as a full-time nanny!
As an infant specialist for the newborn, your childcare role will be threefold:
First, it is to work as a team member with the executive staff, additional nannies, and other professionals in the home. We hope your personality will blend in seamlessly, whether we need you to take the initiative and be a leader or fall back as a protector. Every day may call for a different mind frame.
Secondly, you get to create fun games and learning activities to help the children grow. You get to work together with the other nanny to ensure the children’s safety, engage them in indoor and outdoor activities, and provide a consistently stimulating environment.
Thirdly, it is to know that you do not hold just one role in the family. Overall you will care for the children. Somedays, we may need help packing for international trips. On other days, the Household Manager might be overloaded with duties and will ask you to step up to put the groceries away.
About the Kids:
The parents have a newborn and a toddler, who are both very smart and easy to get along with in every setting. Every infant needs your love and attention during sleep training, learning about soft foods, and practicing tummy time. And every toddler loves art, getting messy, and making forts. We would love a creative nanny who can safely manage a baby or a toddler. Some days you will care for the infant. Some days you will care for the toddler. Rarely will you care for both children.
About the Parents:
Mom and Dad are go-getters! They have built a lucrative business with the mindset that business is first and the children will ultimately benefit. Both parents work from home, in their own offices, where they enjoy finishing every task to completion on the day it is due. In addition, they stay organized by immediately cleaning up after themselves, following a structured organizational system they had professionally put in place, and implementing routines.
Activity Level:
The parents are always on the go, and they hope their high-end nanny will be too. They appreciate hard-working individuals who are comfortable taking the kids to the part, libraries, ice skating, and the fair. Together with the second nanny, you can plan activities that are the best for the children’s growth and development. Because in this household, no one sits around on their phone. For this role, we would love your help planning birthday parties, organizing playdates, and creating small-relaxed theater productions for mom and dad (such as a 5-minute skit - if the kids want to, that is).
As a full-time nanny in Minneapolis, the best long-term fit will need experience with domestic and international travel for between four and fourteen days. Travel nannies who are looking for permanent placement are welcome to apply. We will discuss moving costs later. However, more importantly, you have an outgoing personality who can manage city life, change, and travel with other employees.
Characteristics Preferred:
You are legally authorized to work in the United States or equivalent U.S. work authorization.
You have at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
You may have attended college, majoring in early education college (ECE) or Childcare Development Associates (CDA).
Your transportation works reliably, and your driving record has minimal issues.
Your experience with infants or toddlers may have been from a daycare environment.
You might have trained in CPR/First Aid/ SIDS Safety/ Water Safety or are willing to (if needed)
Travel: Frequent travel will take place. All traveling costs will be covered, and you will be paid for your work during your scheduled hours. If you have children, you will want to arrange childcare coverage for them while away from home. The family’s travel can span from four days to two weeks on average, up to 12 times a year.
PAY: $23.00 - $29.00 an hour, plus time and a half over forty hours each week.

Schedule: Full-time, long-term. A consistent schedule primarily from Monday through Friday based on your needs. We are looking for a long-term relationship.
